A's 1 day work=1/16
B's 1 day work=1/24

So, Work rate of A = 50/8 = 6.25% per day.
B can do 1/3 or 33.33% of the work in 8 days.
Work rate of B = 33.33/8 = 4.16% per day.

= 6.25 + 4.16 = 10.41% per day.
Thus, they can complete the work in
