A pineapple costs Rs.050 each. A watermelon costs Rs. 0.80 each. By spending Rs.14 a person bought 25 numbers of these fruit. Find the number of each fruit he bought ?

    If Pineapple Cost is .50 Rs. Then 20 Pineapple + 5 watermelon purchase against Rs. 14.

    Let, he bought x no. of pineapples an y no. of watermelons.
    By, condition x+y=25----(1)
    and, 0.50x+0.80y=25---(2)
    Solving (1) & (2), we get: x=20 & y=5.
