If 1/5 of A = 0.25 of B = 30% of C, then A : B : C is equal to ?

A. 8 : 12 : 17

B. 15 : 10 : 12

C. 10 : 12 : 15

D. 15 : 12 : 10

Solution(By Examveda Team)

Given,

1/5 of A = 0.25 of B = 30% of C.

Or, A/5 = B/4 = 3C/10

Now,

A/5 = B/4

A/B = 5/4
Or, A : B = 5 : 4. ---------------------------------------------------------- (1)

And,

B/4 : 3C/10.

B /C = 12/10

Or, B : C = 6 : 5 --------------------------------------------------------- (2)

A : B = 5 : 4

B : C = 6 : 5

We need to make equal B in both equation so, B become same.

Thus, We multiply the value of B of euation (1) into equation (2), and Value of B of euqtion (2) will be multiplied into equation (1).

[Multply 6 in euqtion (1) and 4 into euation 2]

A : B : C = 30 : 24 : 20
A : B : C = 15 : 12 : 10
