Answer: Option A
Solution(By Examveda Team)
Now as per question, Kamal invested for 12 months and Sameer invested for 7 months. So Kamal : Sameer = (9000 × 12) : (8000 × 7) = 108 : 56 = 27 : 14 Sameer Ratio in profit will be$$\eqalign{ & = {6970 \times \frac{{14}}{{41}}} \cr & = {\text{Rs}}{\text{. 2380}} \cr} $$

Can you tell me,how could you get the proportion from 108:56 to(27:14)
it is not given that investment is per month,
then how kamal's total invetstment is 9000*12
and how smeer's total invetstment is 8000*7
please explain?
14 is the Smeer's proportion of money where as 27 is Kamal's money.
And, 14 +27 = 41
Smeer's Money = (total money * 14)/41.
Sameer Ratio in profit will be =(6970*14/41)=Rs 2380.
how we get this {108 : 56} from this {Kamal: Sameer = (9000*12):(8000*7)}
i can't get it
anyone please help me in this
14 is the Smeer's proportion of money where as 27 is Kamal's money.
And, 14 +27 = 41
Smeer's Money = (total money * 14)/41.
Sameer Ratio in profit will be =(6970*14/41)=Rs 2380.
Alternative,
Total profit = 6970
14x +27x = 6970
x = 6970/41 = 170
Sameer's profit = 14x = 14*170 =Rs 2380.
Can you please explain 6970*14/41 ??? I didn't get that.
