Let number of 25 paise coins be X and number of 50 paise coins be Y.
So, X+Y = 55.......â€Â¦....eq(1)
Total money = ₹20 = 2000 paise
So, (X*25)+(Y*50) = 2000
Or, X + 2Y = 80 [dividing both sides by 25]........eq(2)
Subtracting eq 1 from eq 2, we get, Y = 25.
Therefore, X = 55-25 = 30
4 * 30 + 2 * 25 = Rs.20
7.5 + 12.5 = 20.
So, 25 paise coin must be 30.
