Let Ram's income is 100.
He spends on household = 20 % of 100 = 20.
Expenditure on books = 15% of 80 = 12.
Expenditure on clothes = 30% of 68 = 20.4.
Saving = 47.6.
Thus,
47.6 = 9520.
1 = 9520/47.6
100 = (9520 *100)/(47.6) = 20,000.
His salary = Rs. 20,000.
