At first we take only water part of both vessel 3/8 , 3/5 and 1/2 and use aligatin ans is 4:5 .
In first Vessel Milk Content is 5/8 where as water content is 3/8;
like the way in 2nd vessel milk content is 2/5 and water content is 3/5;
so from both the vessels some part of milk and water has to take to get mixture of both.. so from 1st vessel (5/8)*x== milk content water and water is (3/8)*x;
2nd vessel (2/5)*y == milk and water is (3/5)*y;
both these are mixed ((5/8)*x+(2/5)*y)/((3/8)*x+(3/5)*y)=1;
By solving this equation we will get x/y=4/5;===> 4:5.. this the answer....

here milk 5/8 and 2/5 and new mixture milk is 1/2
2/5-1/2
------ =(-1/10) *(-8/1)=4:5
1/2-5/8
