What is the maximum number of rests that he can take?

A. 41

B. 42

C. 40

D. 43

Solution(By Examveda Team)

Total distance = 800m.

For Paul,

16m per minutes needs = 800/16 = 50 min to climb.

10m per minute needs = 800/10 = 80 min to climb.

He take 2 hours = 120 minutes maximum.

So, he can take rest = 120 -80 = 40 minutes or 40 times.
