A boy can fill a bucket in 3/4 min. and a girl can fill bucket 4/3 min. In how many hour will they fill the tank whose capacity is 225 buckets. If they works only 3/5 hour in every 1 hour?

Boy can fill bucket in 3/4 min. So, he can fill number of bucket in 1 hour i.e. 3/5 hour = (3 *60)/5 = 36 min

= (3/4) * (36) = 27

Girl can fill a bucket in 4/3 min. So she can fill numbers of bucket in 3/5 hours = = (3 *60)/5 = 36 min

= (4/3) * 36 = 48 buckets.

They together can fill number of bucket in one hour i.e. 3/5 hour

= 27 + 48 = 75 bucket per hour. (Since they work 36 min in an hour.)

So, Time required to fill 225 buckets = 225/75 = 3 hours.
