A reduction of 20% in the price of sugar enables a person to get 7.8Kg more sugar for Rs. 3.90.The original price of sugar per Kg is?

    3.9/7.8=0.5 rs /kg is the reduced price
    so 0.5/80*100 =0.625 rs/kg is original price .

    Calculation mistakes. Here is the correct one:
    20% reduction in Rs. 3.90
    = 3.90 * (20/100) = 0.78
    Reduced price of 7.8 kg = 0.78
    Reduced price of 1 kg sugar = 0.78/7.8 = Rs. 0.1
    Then original price = (0.1*100)/80 = 50/4 = Rs. 0.125.

    20% reduction in Rs. 3.90
    = 3.90 * (20/100) = 78
    Reduced price of 7.8 kg = 78
    Reduced price of 1 kg sugar = 78/7.8 = Rs. 10
    Then original price = (10*100)/80 = 50/4 = Rs. 12.5.
