Suppose distance between Delhi and Chandigarh is 28 kms.
Then speed of first train = 28/4= 7 kmph
speed of 2nd train = 28/3.5= 8 kmph
If trains met after t hours from 6 AM, then
7t + 8*(t-2) = 28
15t = 44
t = 44/16 hours = 2 hrs 56 mins.
