Gamble is a game of chance, game of betting; whereas, Gambol means to playfully frisk or dance about.

To gamble is to bet money or take a risky action. A gamble is something that is especially risky or without assurance. Usually it is paired with the verb take, as in taking a gamble.

Gambol

To gambol is to playfully skip or frolic.

1. GAMBOL: game-ball, in a football game you have to skip the ball playfully because if you don't do it the opposite player will tackle you quickly.
