    Water = 30% in 1 liter = 0.30 liter.
    Alcohol = 0.7 liter.
    Let x amount alcohol added.
    Alcohol = (0.7 +x)
    Now, according to question,
    15% of (1 + x) = 0.3
    15 + 15x = 15
    15x = 30 - 15
    x = 15/15 = 1 liter = 1000 ml.

    In one Lt mixture of alcohol and water, % of water = 30%
    the amount of water = 30% of 1 Lt
    = 30 / 100 *1
    =0.3 Lt

    amount of alcohol = 1 - 0.3 = 0.7 Lt
    let we should mix X Lt of alcohol to make % of water as 15 %
    total amount of mixture = (X + 1) Lt
    therefore
    0.3 / (X + 1) * 100 = 15
    30 = 15 (X + 1)
    X + 1 = 2
    X = 2 - 1 = 1 Lt
    thus we must add 1 Lt alcohol to give mixture. means 1000 ml
