Mukta Dutta Tomar appointed as India's Ambassador to Federal Republic of Germany. She is expected to take up the assignment shortly.

About Mukta Dutta Tomar

Tomar is a 1984 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer.

She is presently working as the Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

Tomar also served as the Consul General of India in Chicago.
