2 trains are moving in the same direction at 65 km/hr. and 45 km/hr. The faster train crosses a women in slower train in 8 seconds. What is the length of the faster train?

A. 180m.

B. 150m.

    The trains are moving in the same direction. So,
    Relative speed = 65 - 45 = 20 kmph = (20 *5/18) = 50/9 m/sec.
    In 8 seconds, faster train crosses its own length i.e. it travels its own length.
    So, Length of the train ( distance traveled by train in 8 sec),
    = Speed * time
    = (50/9) * 8
    = 44.44 m.
    Length of the faster tarin = 44.44 m.
