A is thrice as good a workman as B and takes 10 days less to do a piece of work than B takes. The number of days taken by B to finish the work is :

A. 12

B. 15

C. 20

D. 30

Answer: Option B

Solution (By Examveda Team)

A must be able to finish the same job in one-third of the time taken by B. So let's say if A takes X days to complete the work, B will do it in 3X days
Since A finishes the job in 10 days less,
we have : 3X - X = 10
So, X = 5
A finishes the work in 5 days and B in 15 days
