A number when divided by 25 diminished by 120.The number is:

A. 150

B. 175

C. 200

D. 125

Solution (By Examveda Team)

Let the number be 'x'

Then according to question

x/25 = x - 120

therefore, x = 25x - 120 * 25

therefore, x = (120 * 25 ) / 24

i.e x = 125.

so answer is 125.
