The answer given her may be not right. In general sense main mamory supposed to be hard disk and in more technical term it should be ROM. But how in earth RAM can be there main memory?

Ram is a temporary storage, that we all know. Whereas, main memory are tge storage where data are stored permanently untill or unless a human command the computer to delete it. So, how RAM can be a main memory ?
