This question might surprise you and it is a tough one for a Fresher candidate (he might even be called ‘Unlucky’ here). The interviewer, generally, asks this question when your skill set does not match with the requirement of the job profile.

Here are a few tips to convert this hurdle into an opportunity for you:
1. Tailor your resume in a manner such that it suits the job-role you want to seep into. For sample, ‘click here’.
2. Clearly mention your skills and qualities which formed the basis of your decision to make your career in this particular field.
3. Help the interviewer to form an opinion that this role is perfect for you and that you are a perfect fit for the job.

Now, it’s time for 'participation':
*Assume that you are sitting in the interview room now.
*You have been asked to ‘Are not you overqualified for this position’. Go ahead; give it a try on how to answer the same. Post your own answers and get them reviewed .
