'Back to Village' Programme of Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh is aimed at

'Back to village' programme is aimed at energising Panchayats and directing development efforts in rural areas through community participation.
This ambitious programme has four main goals. These are
i. Energising panchayats
ii. Collecting feedback on delivery of government schemes and programmes
iii. Capturing specific economic potential
iv. Undertaking assessment of needs of villages
