Bhai Parmanand was an Indian nationalist. He was born on 4 November, 1876 into a prominent family of Punjab, Mohyal Brahmins. In October 1905, he visited South Africa and stayed with Mahatma Gandhi as a vedic missionary. He was the founder member of Ghadar Party. In 1930, he was the Chairman of the Sind Provincial Hindu Conference where he expressed concern that creation of Pakistan will divide India.
