The Eastern kingdom of Pundra dynasty had its territory from North Bengal to the land which is now under Bangladesh. One of the legendary leaders of this dynasty was Paundraka Vasudeva. He united the three regions, i.e. Pundra, Vanga and Kirata and further entered into alliance with Jarasandha of Magadha.
