Every year, 1 July is celebrated as National Doctor's Day by the Indian Medical Association (IMA). The day is observed to commemorate the birth and death anniversary of former Bengal's Chief Minister Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy.
World UFO Day is observed on 2 July. It was founded by the UFO hunter Haktan Akdogan. The first World UFO Day was celebrated in 2001 and spread awareness among people to gaze at the heavens scanning for unidentified flying objects.
12 July is dedicated to celebrating Malala Yousafzai, the young activist from Pakistan. Malala was shot at by Taliban insurgents while she was on her way to school in 2012. Later, the United Nations declared 12 July, Malala's birthday, as World Malala Day in honour of the young education activist.
