Gurdwara Dukh Nirwan Sahib is a holy shrine of Sikhism is situated at Sirhind Road, Patiala. Earlier it was Lehal village. According to the local history, a villager named Bhag Ram of Lehal village went to neighbouring town of Saifabad and met Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh Ji and requested him to visit Lehal village which was captivated by a deadly and mysterious disease. After hearing this Guruji went to the village and spent sometime alongside the village pond by preaching and meditating under a banyan tree. Shortly after that the village got rid of the deadly disease. Dukh Nirwan Sahib was the name given to the place where Guruji sat and the pond became famous for its curing virtues.
