Haridas Jayanti Festival and Dhrupad Mela are held annually in Varanasi. Swami Haridas was a spiritual poet. Swami Haridas was also the founder of the Haridasi school of mysticism. Swami Haridas credited with devotional compositions, especially in the Dhrupad style.
