How many lower, middle and upper Paleolithic sites are found in West Bengal?

There are 162 lower Palaeolithic sites in West Bengal. The majority of these have been reported from Radh plain and located on the foothills, valley slopes and river banks. The 41 middle-Palaeolithic sites are located in Bankura, Midnapore, Birbhum and Burdwan districts. The 10 Upper-Palaeolithic sites are in Midnapore, Bankura and Burdwan district.
