    Why have you made the eqn equal to 100 when it should ve equal to 90 as the votes a b c got will be equal to peoplewho voted that is 90% of voters on list

    let B get (X)% votes
    therefore A=(1.5X)% (i.e.,50% more than B)
    C=(X-5)% (B gets 5% more than C)
    total votes A+B+C=1.5X+X+(X-5)=100
    on solving we get 3.5X=105...i.e., X=30
    X is nothing but B
    therefore
    A=(1.5*30=45)
    B=30
    C=25
    Now, if @ 45 votes A beat C by 20
    then if A beat C by 18000 votes (cross-multiplication) we will have vote for A
    A=40500
    now for B and C
    if @ A=45 real value of A is 40500 the for B(@30) we have real value =27000 and similar for C we get C=22500 (Cross multiplication)
    now adding A+B+C=40500+27000+22500=90,000( given that 90% of voters in the list votes ) therefore total voters will be 1,00,000
