    In slope deflection method following assumptions are made:-
    1.all joints are rigid
    2.Axial deformation are neglected
    3.shear deformations are neglected
    Assumptions 2&3 are reasonable because distortion of rigid jointed structures due to axial forces and shear forces are very small compared to distortion due to flexure
    Hence on bending moment deformation is considered
