Baba Sheikh Farid Aagman Purb Fair is held in the month of September in Faridkot district. Baba Farid was a 12^th century Sufi Saint and was the first major Punjabi poet. A large number of devotees from far off places come to attend the annual Baba Farid Fair. During this fair, the Baba Farid society organises various sporting and cultural activities to attract the youth. It includes Kabaddi contest with teams participating even from neighbouring Pakistan. The major attractions at the fair are daring stunts performed by the Baazigars.
