In Which year Chinese pilgrim Xuanzang visited Maharashtra

In the year 640 AD, Chinese pilgrimage Xuanzang visited Maharashtra. Xuanzang travelled in northern India for five years before he finally arrived at Nalanda the most famous monastery - university in India in 637CE. He remained here for a total two years studying Buddhist sutras. The purple route reveals his travels inside the Indian peninsula.
