The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council was formed for the first time on 1^st July, 1958 and it was abolished on 31^st May, 1985. It was reconstituted on 30^th March, 2007. The total number of Members of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council is 90 up to bifurcation of the state.
