In which year was the concept of "Tribal Sub-Plan" adopted in Tripura

"Tribal Sub-Plan" was adopted in Tripura in 1974. Tribal Sub-Plan came into existence in 1974 - 75 as a strategy for the development of areas having tribal concentration. After merger of Plan and Non-Plan, the TSP was renamed as Scheduled Tribe Component (STC) by Ministry of Finance. 41 Central Ministries / Departments have been identified for earmarking of STC.
