It will take us a long time . . . . . . . . decision.

A. about

B. to

C. in

D. of

Answer: Option B

Solution (By Examveda Team)

The correct answer is (B) to.
Here's why:
The phrase "take time to" means to require a certain amount of time in order to do something.
We're talking about the time needed to reach a decision.
Therefore, "It will take us a long time to decision" is the correct phrasing.
Let's look at why the other options are incorrect:
(A) about: "It will take us a long time about decision" doesn't make grammatical sense. While "about" can be used with "time" (e.g., "It's about time"), it doesn't fit this construction.
(C) in: "It will take us a long time in decision" is also grammatically incorrect and doesn't convey the intended meaning.
(D) of: "It will take us a long time of decision" is grammatically awkward and not the standard way to express this idea.
