Jarag/Baheria Fair is held in Chet (March - April) in honour of the Goddess Seetla in the village Jarag, tehsil Payal in Ludhiana district. It is also known as Baheria fair. There is a pond where the devotees at Goddess Seetla gather and perform the pooja. Sweet gulgulas (Jaggery cakes fried in oil) are offered to Devi and her donkey. This festival is also observed in Malwa and Powadh but the fair is held only in Jarag.
