Mary, who is sixteen years old, is four times as old as her brother. How old will Mary be when she is twice as old as her brother?

Solution (By Examveda Team)

Brother current age = 16/4 = 4
16+x = 2(x+4)
16+x = 2x+8
x = 8
after 8 years so 24 years
