Maximum noise level from a tractor near the operator's ear should not exceed

A. 85 dB

B. 100 dB

C. 95 dB

D. 120 dB

Answer: Option A

Solution (By Examveda Team)

The maximum noise level from a tractor near the operator's ear should not exceed 85 dB to ensure safe working conditions and prevent hearing damage.

Exposure to noise levels higher than 85 dB over long periods can lead to permanent hearing loss.

Key Points:
  >>   85 dB is the recommended maximum threshold to protect hearing.
  >>  100 dB and higher noise levels pose significant risks to hearing, especially with prolonged exposure.
  >>   95 dB and 120 dB are well above the safe limit, potentially leading to immediate damage to hearing over time.
