Odd Man Out
In these types of questions a group of word, number or objects are given, all the members of the group are similar in nature or pattern except one. Candidates have to spot out the odd one.

(c) Brinjal
(d) Grapes
(e) Pomegranate
Explanations :
Except BRINJAL all the rest are the names of the fruits, while Brinjal is a vegetable. Hence, Brinjal is the odd one.
Type 2:
Find out the pair which is different from the other given pairs.
(a) Cow And Buffalo
(b) Cock and Hen
(c) Horse and Mare
(d) Dog and Bitch
(e) Peacock and Peahen
In the all pairs, the second one is the feminine of the first one. Except, the first pair.
