Jammu and Kashmir Milk Producer's Cooperative Limited came into existence in 2004 with the merging of two loss-making departments i.e. Kashmir Milk Cooperative Federation and Jammu Milk Cooperative Federation. Milk plants are established in Cheshmashahi and Satwari. Processed milk and milk products are sold under the brand name Snow Cap.
