    Every person who is arrested and detained in custody shall be produced before the nearest MAGISTRATE within a period of twenty- four hours not specifically District Magistrate but any magistrate.
    And the correct explanation of the given Assertion would have been - The accused person can get his conviction quashed upon vague and obscure charges.This means that if the charges against the accused person are not clear or specific, they can challenge the validity of the charges and potentially have their conviction overturned.
