Sailor vs Sailer
A Sailor is one who sails &ndash always in reference to a person; whereas, a Sailer is the vessel or vehicle that sails.
Sailor
Sailor is the one who follows the business of navigating ships or other vessels; one who understands the practical management of ships; one of the crew of a vessel; a mariner; a common seaman (usually below the rank of officer).

Sailer
A Sailer is that which sails; a boat.It is a a vessel propelled by a sail or sails.
