Punjab is the only Sikh majority state in India with 57. 69% of state population following Sikhism. Hinduism is second most popular religion in state of Punjab with 38. 49 % following it. In Punjal state, Island is followed by 1.93%, Jainism by 0.16%, Buddhism by 0.12% and Christianity by 1.26%. Around 0.04% stated other religion, approximately 0.32% stated 'No Particular Religion'.
