The questions in this type of tests are meant to judge the past experience of the candidate and his/her capacity to act promptly, quickly and correctly in unforeseen circumstances. The presence of mind play is the key role here.

Examples :

1. If on a tough day you are the only person available to handle the customers, you should

(a) Ask for additional help from the boss
(b) Take leave and go back home
(c) Try and work to the maximum of your ability to satisfy the customers
(d) Just do your part of the work

Explanations :

An ideal professional is expected not to shirk his duties but to work hard and strive to satisfy his customers/ clients. Hence, option (c) is suitable.

2. If you find yourself in a situation where you are required to make a power-point presentation and you are already bogged down by too much work, as the manager what would you do?

(a) Take an alternative mode of presentation
(b) Cancel the seminar and reschedule according to your convenience
(c) Pass the buck to your subordinate, you are the boss, no one can question you
(d) Priorities your work ant try to squeeze out time for it
