Team vs Team

Teem means to be in abundance, large number; whereas, Team- a group with the same goal (noun); to form a squad (verb).

Team

team is

1.Two or more people playing a game or sport together, in opposition to another group of people.

"Which cricket team do you play for?"

2. Two or more people working together.

"Those young men are a sales team."

"He is a good team worker."

"The zombies worked as a team to capture the humans."

3. Two or more draft animals working together.

4. In conjunction with the word up, as in team up, used as a verb to describe two or more people coming together to compete at a game or sport or to work on a project. Related terms are teams up, teamed up, teaming up.

"We teamed up for this new project."

"The two companies have teamed up for developing a new racing car."

Teem

Teem is a verb that means to be abundant, to be inundated with a prolific amount. Related words are teems, teemed, teeming.

The verb teem is used for those times when you need to say that something is overflowing or crowded. The synonyms are overflow, abound, swarm etc.

Teem is almost always used with the preposition with, as when the busy streets teem with activity.

"The plaza is teeming with undercover policemen."

"The city is teeming with zombies."

"The wrestler’s heart teemed with the thoughts of winning the match."

"The river is teeming with fish.

"A drop of water teems with microorganisms."
