The contribution of Hydropower in India's total power is almost

In India most of the electricity is produced through thermal power stations where mostly coal is used as raw material. Although, India has a great potential to produce hydroelectricty but still it has not harnessed it properly & only 1/5 of it contributes to total energy consumption.
