The forests in Andhra Pradesh are mainly Tropical Deciduous Forests. The natural vegetation in Andhra Pradesh largely belongs to Moist-deciduous forests. Moist deciduous forests are a mixture of trees and grasses. These forests are found in areas of moderate rainfall of 100 to 200 cm per annum. These have a mean annual temperature of about 27°C.
