Government Museum and Art Gallery is located at Chandigarh. The museum was inaugurated on 6 May, 1968. The building of the museum was designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. The museum is divided into few wings, out of which art gallery building is more attractive. The museum features a rich collection of Gandhara sculptures and Rajasthani and Pahari miniature paintings.
