An important example of Basholi painting style is the depiction of the 'Rasamanjari' or 'Bouquet of Delight' in 1664 AD (a long love poem written in 15^th century by Bhanudatta of Tirhut Bihar). It was painted by Devidasa under the patronage of Raja Kirpal Pal.
