Punjab Government is planning to raise the pension of surviving freedom fighters to Rupees 15000 per month. The State Freedom Fighters Welfare Department has given the proposal to the finance department for approval. After giving the approval, the government has increased from the current pension of Rupees 7500 to Rupees 15000.
