There were some basic issues that remained unresolved by the Central Government regarding the demand of Punjabi Suba Movement. Thus, Shiromani Akali Dal appointed a 12 member committee which submitted their report on 16^th- 17^th October, 1973. This was known as Anandpur Sahib Resolution, 1973.
