Tips, Strategy and expected topics for Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning IBPS PO Prelims 2016

Dear Readers,

You are all have been waiting for IBPS PO pre-Exam and in the next two days You’ll face the most important and life changing exam. You might be feeling excitement blends with nervousness. This is obvious; however, all you need to crack this exam is a very good plan and strategy to face the hurdles during the exam.

Many of you are still confused how to make a good strategy for this exam and how to implement it during exam.

Here is the good strategy that one can follow for prelims exam. First, most important thing is TIME MANAGEMENT.

As you are already aware that there will be three sections in prelims that are &ndash

Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English

Total time is 60 mins. You should allot these 60 minutes in such a way that you can score maximum marks. Table below shows the total number of questions in each section and distribution of 60 minutes to these sections.

Strategy for Quantitative Aptitude

Now let’s talk about Quant section. This section contains 35 questions and you must give 20 minutes for this. Do not spend more than 1 min for any question. Don’t try to attempt every question.

You must be very selective while selecting the questions. Pick a topic first with which you are most comfortable. Analyze your strong point and make your strategy accordingly.

Strategy for Reasoning

Now talk about Reasoning section. This section contains 35 questions and you must give 20 to 25 minutes for this. Do not spend more than 1 min for any question. Don’t try to attempt every question.
